• Inspect bin level sensor: Clean and realign the bin level sensor so it can properly detect ice level.
• Check for obstructions: Ensure ice is not bridging or forming in a way that bypasses the sensor beam.
• Test shutoff function: With the bin full, observe whether the unit stops making ice. If it continues, test the sensor and replace if faulty.
• Control board check: If a new sensor does not correct the issue, the main control board may not be processing the full-bin signal and may need replacement.
