Ice cubes are too small, thin, or melt quickly in drinks.

• Check water level: Verify the reservoir is filling to the proper level. Clean the water level sensor or float if it is shutting off fill too early.
• Adjust ice thickness: Locate the ice thickness adjustment (screw or control setting) and set it slightly thicker per the Amana tech sheet.
• Clean evaporator and sensor: Use a manufacturer-approved cleaner to descale the evaporator plate and ice thickness sensor. Rinse thoroughly.
• Check condenser and airflow: Clean the condenser coil and ensure the fan is working to maintain proper evaporator temperature.
