Ice maker display is blank or dim, but unit still runs and makes ice.

Safety First: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

• Access UI board: Remove the front control panel to expose the display and interface board.
• Check harness: Reseat the connector between the UI and main control board. Inspect for corrosion or damage.
• Inspect board and display: Look for burned components or cracked solder joints near the display connector.
• Replace UI board: If the display remains blank or dim after reseating connections, replace the user interface board with an OEM Amana part.
