Possible Causes
Unit not leveled, loose mounting brackets, cabinet not square, compressor vibration not isolated
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the unit before adjusting installation hardware.
- Level the ice maker: Place a level on top of the unit and adjust the front and rear leveling legs until the cabinet is level in both directions.
- Check side clearances: Ensure the unit is not tightly wedged between cabinets. Provide slight clearance on each side.
- Secure mounting brackets: If your Amana model uses mounting brackets, verify they are properly attached to the cabinet and unit, and tighten all screws.
- Add vibration pads: Place anti-vibration pads under the leveling legs if the floor is uneven or resonates.
