Steps:

• Check water level: Fill the reservoir to the MAX line. Low water can cause thin or hollow ice.
• Clean evaporator: Mineral scale on the evaporator plate reduces heat transfer. Use a manufacturer-approved ice maker cleaner or a 1:1 vinegar-water solution. Run a cleaning cycle if your Antarctic Star model supports it, then rinse thoroughly.
• Adjust thickness (if available): Some models allow adjusting ice size. Set to a larger size and test.
• Improve environment: Move the unit away from direct sunlight, ovens, or heat vents to reduce ambient temperature.
