How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the unit before accessing control boards.
Procedure:
- Access controls: Remove the front control panel to expose the user interface (UI) board and the wiring harness to the main control.
- Check connections: Disconnect and reconnect the harness plugs several times to wipe oxidation from the pins. Ensure the locking tabs engage.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components, moisture damage, or cracked solder joints on both boards.
- Board substitution: If wiring is intact, replace the display/UI board first (often easier and cheaper). If E14 persists, replace the main control PCB.
