Water pooling inside the ice bin or under the evaporator, but not on the floor

Possible Causes
Clogged internal drain port, Misrouted drain hose, Ice blocking drain, Failed drain pump (pump models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the unit.
Steps:
- Clear ice: Remove any ice buildup around the drain opening in the bin or under the evaporator.
- Flush drain: Pour warm (not boiling) water into the drain to clear debris. Use a flexible brush if needed.
- Check hose routing: Ensure the drain hose slopes continuously downward with no loops that can trap water.
- Test pump: On pump-equipped Arktic models, verify the pump runs and discharges water. Replace the drain pump if it hums or is inoperative.
