Water pooling inside the ice bin or under the evaporator, but not on the floor

Safety First: Unplug the unit.

Steps:

• Clear ice: Remove any ice buildup around the drain opening in the bin or under the evaporator.
• Flush drain: Pour warm (not boiling) water into the drain to clear debris. Use a flexible brush if needed.
• Check hose routing: Ensure the drain hose slopes continuously downward with no loops that can trap water.
• Test pump: On pump-equipped Arktic models, verify the pump runs and discharges water. Replace the drain pump if it hums or is inoperative.
