How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water before accessing the pump.
- Access circulation pump: Remove the lower front panel and locate the water circulation pump connected to the reservoir and evaporator.
- Check for leaks and looseness: Ensure the pump is firmly mounted and not vibrating excessively. Tighten mounting screws if needed.
- Inspect hoses and filter: Look for kinks or blockages in hoses leading to and from the pump. Some models have a small inlet filter; clean if present.
- Clear impeller: If accessible, remove the pump cover and check the impeller for debris. Clean carefully and reassemble.
- Test operation: Restore power and water, then start a cycle. If the pump does not run or is very loud and E17 returns, replace the circulation pump assembly.
