- Confirm water supply: Verify the shutoff valve feeding the Asko ice maker is fully open and that other fixtures in the home have normal water pressure.
- Inspect supply hose: Pull the unit out and check the water line for kinks or crushing. Straighten as needed.
- Clean inlet screen: Shut off water, disconnect the line at the ice maker's inlet valve, and rinse the small mesh screen inside the valve fitting.
- Run a test fill: Restore water and power, then start a cycle. Listen for the valve click and water entering the reservoir. If there is no fill sound and no error, the inlet valve or level sensor may be faulty and should be tested and replaced.
