Possible Causes
Ice bin overfilling and overflowing, Blocked internal drain, Door not sealing causing condensation drip, Misaligned unit not level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before leveling or clearing drains.
- Check level: Use a spirit level on top of the ice maker. Adjust the front leveling legs so the unit is slightly tilted back to keep water inside.
- Inspect bin: Ensure the bin is not cracked and is properly seated. Empty excess ice if it is heaped above the bin edge.
- Clear drain: Locate the drain opening inside the ice compartment and clear any ice or debris with a plastic tool or pipe cleaner.
- Inspect door gasket: Replace if damaged to prevent warm air infiltration and condensation.
