Safety: Unplug before working inside the bin.

Steps:

• 1. Break up clumps: Manually break apart large clumps and discard heavily fused ice.
• 2. Check door gasket: Inspect the bin door gasket for tears or gaps. Replace if not sealing to prevent warm air infiltration.
• 3. Verify bin temperature: The bin should be cool but not freezing. If it feels warm, check for airflow obstructions around the unit.
• 4. Inspect bin thermostat (if equipped): Some Avanti models use a bin thermostat to control ice production. If ice overfreezes or melts excessively, the thermostat may be faulty and require replacement.
• 5. Clear bin drain: Ensure the bin drain is not clogged so meltwater can exit instead of refreezing around cubes.
