Steps:

• 1. Clean evaporator plate: Mineral scale on the plate reduces heat transfer. Use ice maker cleaner per Avanti instructions to descale the plate and rinse thoroughly.
• 2. Check water level: Inspect the reservoir to ensure it fills to the proper level. Clean the reservoir and float if mineral buildup is present.
• 3. Adjust ice thickness (if available): Some Avanti models have a thickness adjustment screw or setting. Increase thickness slightly and test a few cycles.
• 4. Verify ambient temperature: Move the unit away from heat sources and ensure room temperature is within spec.
• 5. Inspect thickness sensor: Clean and reposition the ice thickness probe so it correctly senses the ice slab. Replace if damaged.
