• 2. Check for leaks or kinks: Inspect the entire length of the water line from the house connection to the ice maker inlet.
• 3. Clean inlet screen: Disconnect the water line at the inlet valve and clean any debris from the valve screen.
• 4. Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, measure coil resistance. Replace the valve if the coil is open or if it hums but does not open when energized.
• 5. Inspect water level sensor: Ensure the reservoir float or electronic sensor is not stuck in the 'full' position. Clean mineral buildup and verify free movement.
