Avanti ice maker's display or indicator lights do not work, but the unit still makes ice.

Safety: Unplug before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Remove control panel: Carefully detach the front panel to access the display board and wiring.
• 2. Check ribbon cable: Reseat the ribbon or harness connectors between the display and main board.
• 3. Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components or corrosion on the display PCB. Replace the display module if damaged.
• 4. Test operation: After reseating connectors, restore power and check if the display returns. If not, replace the user interface board or main control board as required.
