Buttons on the Avanti ice maker control panel do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety: Unplug before opening the control panel.

Steps:

• 1. Dry the panel: If the panel is wet from cleaning or condensation, allow it to dry completely and try again.
• 2. Remove control panel: Access the keypad connector and reseat it on the control board.
• 3. Test individual buttons: Press each button and feel for a tactile click. Non-clicking buttons indicate a worn keypad.
• 4. Replace keypad: Install a new Avanti-compatible control panel or keypad assembly if buttons remain unresponsive.
• 5. Control board: If a new keypad does not resolve the issue, the main control board may have failed input circuits and should be replaced.
