Possible Causes
Room temperature too high, condenser coil clogged, condenser fan not running, door left open, refrigerant system underperforming
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before cleaning coils or working near moving parts.
Steps:
- 1. Check ambient temperature: Ensure the Avanti ice maker is installed in a room within the specified temperature range (typically 50–100°F). Move it if necessary.
- 2. Verify door closure: Make sure the door or lid closes fully and the gasket is sealing properly. Remove any ice blocking closure.
- 3. Clean condenser coil: Remove the rear panel and clean the condenser coil with a brush and vacuum to improve heat dissipation.
- 4. Confirm fan operation: Restore power and check that the condenser fan runs when the compressor is on. Replace the fan motor if it does not run.
- 5. Monitor cooling: After cleaning and checks, allow several hours for the unit to cool. If H1 persists and the unit does not get cold, a sealed-system issue may exist and requires professional service.
