How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for at least 5 minutes to reset the control electronics, then reconnect and attempt to start the cleaning cycle again.
- Check buttons: Inspect the Balay control panel for stuck or damaged buttons. Clean around the buttons to remove dirt or residue.
- Inspect UI harness: Reseat the harness between the UI and main board. Look for pin damage or corrosion.
- Firmware/board: If the problem persists, the control PCB may require replacement. In some cases, Balay service can update firmware; contact authorized service.
