Ice cubes are too small or hollow in the center.

Safety first: Disconnect power and water before servicing.

• Inspect fill tube: Remove and check the Balay fill tube for ice or mineral blockage. Flush with warm water and reinstall.
• Clean/replace inlet valve: Clean the inlet screen; if the valve still does not deliver adequate flow, replace the valve.
• Adjust settings: If your model allows, increase the ice thickness or fill time setting following the Balay user manual.
• Check water pressure: Ensure the supply meets minimum pressure; avoid long, narrow, or self-piercing connections.
