E13 displayed, keypad or touch controls unresponsive or erratic.

Safety: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.

Steps:

• Inspect control area: Check for signs of condensation or water behind the display or buttons. Dry gently with a soft cloth.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the front control panel and carefully disconnect and reconnect the flat ribbon cable to the main PCB. Ensure it is fully seated and locked.
• Check for damage: Look for cracks in the touch panel, worn buttons, or corrosion on connectors.
• Replace UI board: If buttons remain unresponsive or random inputs occur, replace the Bauknecht user interface / keypad assembly.

After reassembly, restore power and test all buttons and functions.
