Safety: Disconnect power and close water supply.

Steps:

• Locate drain/harvest valve: On some Bauknecht models, a small solenoid opens a drain or release mechanism during harvest.
• Check for blockage: Inspect the drain path from the tray for ice or mineral deposits. Clear gently with warm water and a soft brush.
• Test solenoid: Measure coil resistance; an open circuit indicates a failed solenoid. Also check for mechanical sticking.
• Inspect wiring: Ensure connectors are tight and wires are not damaged.
• Replace solenoid: Install a new Bauknecht drain/harvest solenoid if defective.

After repair, run a test cycle to confirm proper draining and harvesting.
