E20 error, water continuously flows into the ice maker or overfills the tray.

Safety: Immediately close the water supply valve and unplug the appliance to prevent flooding.

Steps:

• Inspect inlet valve: Remove the rear panel and locate the water inlet valve. Disconnect the inlet hose and check for debris at the valve screen.
• Clean or replace: Rinse the screen and inspect the valve body. If water still flows through the valve when it is not energized (no power), replace the valve.
• Check control signal: With a multimeter and the unit powered, verify that the valve only receives voltage during the fill phase. If voltage is present constantly, the control board may be faulty.

After repair, reconnect water and monitor several cycles to ensure proper fill level and no overflow.
