Beko ice maker display is on but buttons do not respond

Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel if needed.

• 1. Check for control lock:
  • Refer to the user manual for child lock or panel lock function.
  • Press and hold the specified button combination to unlock.
• 2. Dry moisture:
  • If the panel was recently exposed to steam or cleaning, unplug and allow it to dry for 24 hours.
• 3. Inspect ribbon cable:
  • Remove the control fascia and ensure the ribbon cable is fully seated.
• 4. Replace touch panel:
  • If specific buttons never respond, replace the Beko user interface/touchpad assembly.
