Beko ice maker is very noisy during operation (rattling, buzzing, or grinding)

Safety first: Unplug the unit before touching internal components.

• 1. Identify noise source:
  • Listen carefully to determine if the noise comes from the rear (compressor/fan) or inside (evaporator fan/pump).
• 2. Tighten loose parts:
  • Remove panels and tighten any loose screws or brackets.
  • Ensure the ice bin and internal covers are properly seated.
• 3. Check evaporator fan:
  • Inspect for ice buildup around the fan blades.
  • Clear ice and reposition any wires away from the fan path.
• 4. Inspect circulation pump (if fitted):
  • Listen for grinding from the pump area near the reservoir.
  • If noisy, the pump may be failing and should be replaced.
• 5. Compressor vibration:
  • Follow the E14 steps to check compressor mounts and refrigerant lines.
