Possible Causes

Defective water level sensor in reservoir, Blocked water level tube or chamber, Faulty flow meter on inlet line, Loose wiring between sensor and control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off the water supply before opening any covers.

  • 1. Inspect water reservoir (if equipped):
    • Remove the ice bin and internal covers to access the water reservoir.
    • Check for mineral deposits, slime, or debris around the water level sensor or float.
    • Clean the reservoir with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
  • 2. Check float or level probe:
    • If your Beko model uses a float, ensure it moves freely and is not stuck by scale.
    • If it uses metal level probes, clean them gently with a soft cloth and white vinegar to remove scale.
  • 3. Inspect flow meter (if present on inlet line):
    • Locate the small plastic flow meter on the water inlet line inside the rear compartment.
    • Check for kinks or blockages in the line before and after the meter.
    • Ensure the electrical connector is firmly attached.
  • 4. Wiring and connector check:
    • Trace the sensor wires to the main PCB and confirm all connectors are fully seated.
    • Look for signs of moisture ingress or corrosion at the connectors.
  • 5. Replace faulty sensor:
    • If the level sensor or flow meter is visibly damaged or tests open/shorted with a multimeter, replace it with the correct Beko water level sensor or flow meter.
  • 6. Power up and reset:
    • Restore water and power, then perform a reset according to the user manual to clear E03.

Persistent E03 after sensor replacement may indicate a defective control board that requires professional diagnosis.
