Possible Causes

Stuck ice level arm, Dirty infrared ice level sensor, Misaligned bin sensor bracket, Failed ice full sensor circuit on main PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before working inside the bin area.

  • 1. Check mechanical ice level arm (if equipped):
    • Locate the plastic or metal arm above the ice bin.
    • Ensure it moves freely up and down and is not jammed by ice or packaging.
  • 2. Clean infrared sensors (if equipped):
    • Some Beko models use an emitter and receiver pair on opposite sides of the bin.
    • Wipe both sensor windows with a soft, dry cloth to remove frost, dust, or mineral film.
  • 3. Verify bin position:
    • Ensure the ice bin is fully inserted and seated correctly.
    • Some sensors rely on the bin pushing a switch or aligning with a sensor window.
  • 4. Inspect wiring and brackets:
    • Check that the sensor brackets are not bent and that wiring is intact.
    • Reseat any loose connectors on the sensor and main PCB.
  • 5. Replace faulty sensor:
    • If the arm switch or optical sensor tests faulty, replace with the correct Beko ice level sensor assembly.
  • 6. Reset E10:
    • After repair, reconnect power and clear the error via the control panel.
