Possible Causes

Debris lodged in water inlet valve, Faulty water level sensor not signaling shutoff, Shorted water valve coil, Control board stuck energizing valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Immediately turn off the water supply and unplug the ice maker to prevent flooding.

  • 1. Stop water flow:
    • Close the shutoff valve feeding the ice maker.
    • Remove excess water from the bin or reservoir with towels or a wet/dry vacuum.
  • 2. Inspect water inlet valve:
    • Remove the rear panel to access the water inlet valve.
    • Disconnect the water line and check for debris at the valve inlet screen.
    • Clean the screen thoroughly.
  • 3. Check valve operation:
    • With water off and power disconnected, remove the valve and inspect for internal scale or damage.
    • If the valve does not close fully when de-energized, replace it.
  • 4. Verify water level sensor:
    • Follow the E03 procedure to ensure the level sensor is clean and functioning.
  • 5. Electrical diagnosis (advanced):
    • Use a multimeter to confirm the valve coil is not shorted.
    • If the control board is sending voltage to the valve when it should be off, the PCB may be faulty.
  • 6. Replace components as needed:
    • Install a new Beko water inlet valve and/or water level sensor if defective.
  • 7. Restore service:
    • Turn water back on, check for leaks, reconnect power, and clear E11 via the control panel.
