Possible Causes
Partially clogged inlet filter screen, Restricted household water line to Beko unit, Failing water inlet valve, Scale buildup in internal water channels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water supply and unplug the unit before disconnecting hoses.
- 1. Check household water pressure:
- Ensure other taps in the home have strong flow.
- If overall pressure is low, consult a plumber.
- 2. Inspect and clean inlet filter:
- Disconnect the water hose from the back of the ice maker.
- Remove and rinse the small mesh filter in the valve inlet.
- 3. Examine water hose:
- Look for kinks, crushed sections, or inline filters that may be clogged.
- Replace the hose if damaged or internally scaled.
- 4. Descale internal water path:
- Follow Beko's instructions for descaling using an approved descaling solution.
- Run a cleaning cycle to flush mineral deposits from the reservoir and channels.
- 5. Replace water inlet valve if weak:
- If fill times remain long and cubes are small, install a new Beko water inlet valve assembly.
- 6. Reset E12:
- After restoring normal water flow, clear the error via the control panel.
