Possible Causes
Leaking ice maker fill tube, Cracked ice mold or housing, Loose water line connection at valve or ice maker, Frozen and split water tube
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance and shut off the water supply immediately when a leak is suspected.
- Inspect base pan: Remove the front kick plate or rear panel and look for standing water in the base tray. Mop up water and dry the area.
- Check fill tube: Follow the plastic fill tube from the cabinet wall to the ice maker. Look for cracks, splits, or ice blockage. Replace the tube if damaged and ensure it is fully seated in the ice maker inlet.
- Examine mold and housing: Remove the ice maker and inspect the mold for hairline cracks that allow water to drip. Replace the Bosch ice maker assembly if cracked.
- Verify fittings: Tighten compression nuts and push‑fit connectors on the water line at the inlet valve and inside the cabinet. Replace any fittings that show signs of leakage.
- Clear error: After repairs and drying, restore power and water. Some Bosch models clear E15 automatically once the leak sensor dries; others may require a reset via control panel or power cycle.
