Safety: Disconnect power before touching moving parts.

Locate noise source: Listen carefully to determine if the noise comes from the ice maker itself or from the fan area behind it.
Check for ice jams: Remove the ice bin and inspect the ejector blades and auger for clumped ice. Break apart clumps and discard fused ice.
Inspect fan: Remove internal covers to access the ice compartment fan. Clear any ice buildup around the blades and ensure wiring is not rubbing.
Tighten mounting screws: Verify the ice maker is firmly attached to the wall. Tighten loose screws to reduce vibration.
Replace noisy components: If grinding persists, replace the Bosch ice maker assembly or fan motor as appropriate.
