How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Disconnect power and shut off water before cleaning. Use only food-safe cleaners and Café-approved ice machine cleaner.
Steps:
- Discard old ice: Empty the bin completely and discard any ice with off-odors.
- Clean interior surfaces: Wash the bin, door, and interior surfaces with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly.
- Run cleaning cycle: Use Café-recommended ice machine cleaner to descale the reservoir and evaporator. Follow the manual exactly.
- Replace water filter: If equipped, install a new filter cartridge and flush per instructions.
- Flush water line: Disconnect the supply line and flush several gallons of water through it before reconnecting.
- Maintain regular cleaning: Repeat cleaning every 6 months or as recommended.
