How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before opening the internal water system.
- Access circulation pump: Locate the pump near the reservoir. Remove any covers to inspect the inlet screen.
- Clean inlet and lines: Remove debris or scale from the pump inlet and water distribution tube leading to the evaporator.
- Check impeller: Gently spin the impeller by hand. If seized or loose on the shaft, replace the pump.
- Bleed air: Refill the reservoir and tilt the unit slightly as recommended in the manual to help remove trapped air from the pump.
