Possible Causes
Partially blocked water inlet, Misadjusted ice thickness sensor, Low water level in reservoir, Scale buildup on evaporator affecting heat transfer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water before servicing.
- Check water pressure: Ensure adequate water pressure at the inlet. Low pressure can cause undersized cubes.
- Clean inlet and reservoir: Remove sediment from the inlet screen and clean the water reservoir thoroughly.
- Adjust thickness sensor: If your Candy model allows, slightly increase the ice thickness setting or adjust the probe closer to the evaporator.
- Descale evaporator: Run a descaling cycle to restore proper heat transfer and cube formation.
