• Clear drain channel: Remove the ice bin and locate the drain hole. Use a soft brush or pipe cleaner to remove debris.
• Defrost drain: If ice is blocking the drain, allow it to melt naturally or use warm (not boiling) water to clear it.
• Check bin alignment: Ensure the bin is correctly seated so that meltwater flows into the drain, not around it.
• Test drain pump: For models with a pump, listen for pump operation and verify water exits the drain hose. Replace the pump if it runs weakly or not at all.
