Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or only work intermittently.

Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.

• Dry the panel: If the panel has been exposed to spills, carefully dry it and allow time for moisture to evaporate.
• Reseat connector: Disconnect and reconnect the control panel cable to the main PCB.
• Test switches: Use a multimeter to test continuity of each button when pressed. Replace individual switches if possible, or replace the entire control panel PCB.
• Avoid harsh cleaners: Clean the panel only with a slightly damp cloth to prevent future damage.
