Safety first: No internal electrical work is required for basic checks, but unplug the unit if removing covers.

Improve environment: Move the ice maker away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Operate in a cooler room if possible.
Check lid and gasket: Inspect the lid for warping and the gasket for damage. Replace the gasket or lid if it does not seal properly.
Minimize opening: Avoid opening the lid frequently, as warm air entering will accelerate melting.
Fan check: Some Clatronic models use a small fan to circulate cool air around the ice bin. Ensure this fan is running; replace it if failed.

Ice melts quickly in the basket and clumps together.
