Steps to improve ice cube size:

• Select larger ice size: On models with size selection (S/M/L), choose the largest size to extend freeze time.
• Use cooler, filtered water: Fill the reservoir with cool, low-mineral water to improve freezing and clarity.
• Clean the evaporator: Mix a 1:1 solution of white vinegar and warm water. With the unit unplugged and empty, wipe the evaporator grid/plate with a soft cloth soaked in the solution to remove mineral scale. Rinse with clean water and dry.
• Run a cleaning cycle: If your Costway model has a CLEAN function, run it with a diluted vinegar solution, then flush with two full tanks of clean water.
• Check ambient temperature: Ensure the room is not excessively hot, which can prevent full ice formation.
