Steps to address intermittent shutdown:

Improve airflow: Move the unit away from walls and heat sources. Clean all vents and the condenser coil.
Check power cord and plug: Wiggle the plug gently in the outlet (with the unit off) to ensure a snug fit. Replace a loose or damaged cord.
Inspect internal connections: Remove the rear panel and verify that all spade connectors and harness plugs on the compressor, fan, and board are tight.
Monitor compressor temperature: If the compressor becomes extremely hot and then the unit shuts off, the thermal protector may be tripping. This can indicate a failing compressor or fan.
Board replacement: If power is stable and cooling is normal but the unit still resets, the main control board power supply section may be failing and should be replaced.
