Water leaking inside the ice compartment, pooling under the ice bin

Safety first: Unplug the unit before working inside the ice compartment.

Clearing the drain:

• Remove ice bin: Take out the bin and mop up standing water.
• Locate drain hole: Find the small drain opening at the bottom of the compartment.
• Flush with warm water: Use a turkey baster or squeeze bottle to flush warm (not boiling) water through the drain until it flows freely.
• Remove scale: If mineral deposits are visible, apply a food-safe descaler, let it sit, then rinse thoroughly.

Note: Regular cleaning of the drain channel helps prevent recurring leaks.
