EdgeStar ice maker displays E19; unit may not recognize the selected ice size or may default to one size only.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

• Operate the selector: Rotate or press the ice size selector through all positions several times. Sometimes oxidation on contacts can be cleared by movement.
• Inspect the selector wiring: Remove the control panel and verify the selector's harness is firmly connected to the control board.
• Check for physical damage: If the knob is loose, cracked, or the selector does not click into positions, it may be mechanically worn.
• Replace the selector: Install a new EdgeStar ice size selector switch or potentiometer assembly. Align the knob so the markings match the internal positions.
