Safety: Disconnect power and close the water supply before opening the machine.

• Access the water sump: Remove the front panel and ice bin if necessary to reach the water reservoir or sump area.
• Inspect the float: If your Fagor model uses a float switch, move it up and down by hand. It should move freely without sticking. Clean mineral deposits or slime with warm water and a soft brush.
• Clean the sump and drain: Remove any debris from the sump. Ensure the drain hole is clear so excess water can exit properly.
• Check sensor wiring: For electronic level sensors, verify the wiring harness is firmly connected to both the sensor and the control board. Look for corrosion on connectors.
• Test the float switch: Use a multimeter to check continuity while moving the float. Replace the switch if it does not change state.

After cleaning and repairs, restore power and run a test cycle to confirm the water level stabilizes correctly.
