Possible Causes
Partially closed supply valve, Clogged external water filter, Scale buildup in inlet valve, Low building water pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off water and power before disconnecting any plumbing.
- Confirm valve position: Ensure the shutoff valve feeding the ice maker is fully open.
- Check external filter: If a water filter is installed on the supply line, replace the cartridge according to the manufacturer's schedule or sooner if flow is reduced.
- Inspect inlet valve for scale: Remove the inlet hose and look inside the valve body for mineral deposits. Clean gently or replace the valve if heavily scaled.
- Measure water pressure: Use a pressure gauge on a nearby tap. Compare to Fagor's minimum pressure requirement. If pressure is too low, consult a plumber.
After restoring proper flow, reset the ice maker and verify that it fills and runs without triggering E13.
