Safety: Unplug the unit before working near moving parts.

Access the fan: Remove the rear or side panel to expose the condenser fan assembly.
Check for obstructions: Remove any plastic wrap, insulation, or debris caught in the fan blades.
Spin test: Rotate the fan blade by hand. It should move freely without grinding. If stiff or seized, replace the fan motor.
Verify wiring: Ensure the fan connector is fully seated on the control board and that wires are not damaged.
Test voltage: If qualified, measure voltage at the fan terminals when the compressor is running. If voltage is present but the fan does not run, replace the motor. If no voltage, suspect the control board.

After repair, reassemble panels and confirm that the fan runs reliably during operation.
