How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.
- Remove front control panel: Carefully unscrew and pull forward the display/control fascia to access the wiring.
- Reseat connectors: Unplug and firmly reconnect the low‑voltage communication harness between the display board and main control PCB.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components, corrosion, or moisture on both boards. Dry any condensation and correct the source of moisture.
- Power cycle: Reassemble, restore power, and see if the error clears.
If E17 persists, either the display PCB or main control PCB may need replacement. It is advisable to have a technician confirm which board is faulty.
