Water is pooling inside the ice bin or cabinet instead of draining away.

Safety: Disconnect power. Be prepared for water release when clearing drains.

• Clear ice from drain: Remove ice from the bin and locate the drain opening. Use warm (not boiling) water to melt any ice blocking the drain.
• Clean drain channel: Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to remove debris from the internal drain path.
• Verify hose routing: Ensure the drain hose slopes downward without loops that can trap water.
• Test drain pump: On pumped models, listen for pump operation during drain. If silent or only humming, replace the pump.
