How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure power is stable before restarting the appliance.
- Step 1 – Hard reset: Unplug the Fisher & Paykel unit for at least 15 minutes, then reconnect.
- Step 2 – Re-enable ice: Check the control panel to ensure the ice function is turned on.
- Step 3 – Wait full cycle: Allow up to 24 hours for the ice maker to resume normal production.
If the ice maker remains inactive, further diagnosis of the control board and ice module is required.
