Frigidaire ice maker display works but buttons do not respond

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

Restore keypad function:

• Remove the screws securing the front control panel and gently pull it forward.
• Inspect the ribbon cable or harness between the keypad and main board. Reseat the connector firmly.
• Check for signs of moisture or corrosion on the board; dry carefully if damp.
• If only some buttons fail, the keypad membrane is likely worn and the UI board or overlay should be replaced.
• If no buttons work and reseating cables does not help, replace the user interface board.
