Frigidaire ice maker interior light does not come on when door is opened

Safety: Unplug the unit before working on electrical parts.

Restore interior lighting:

• Locate the door switch near the door frame. Press it by hand and listen for a click.
• Test the switch for continuity with a multimeter; replace if it does not change state when pressed.
• Inspect the light module or bulb and replace if visibly burned out.
• Check wiring connections to the light and switch.
• If the switch and light are good but still no light, the control board light circuit may be faulty.
