Locate and repair the leak:
- Pull the ice maker away from the wall and inspect the water supply line connection at the rear. Tighten compression fittings gently; do not overtighten plastic fittings.
- Check the plastic or copper supply line for cracks or pinholes. Replace if damaged.
- Remove the rear or lower panel and inspect the water inlet valve and internal hoses while the water is briefly turned on. Look for drips or sprays.
- If the valve body is cracked or leaking at the seams, replace the water inlet valve.
- Replace any internal hoses that show signs of swelling, cracking, or leaking at clamps.
- Dry the area thoroughly before restoring power.
