Frigidaire ice maker rattles or vibrates excessively

Safety: Unplug the unit before tightening hardware.

Stabilize the ice maker:

• Use a level on the top of the unit and adjust the front and rear leveling legs until the cabinet is level side-to-side and front-to-back.
• Tighten any loose screws on side panels, rear panel, and internal brackets.
• Place thin foam or rubber pads between the unit and adjacent cabinets if they are touching.
• Inspect compressor mounting grommets; if they are cracked or missing, have them replaced to reduce vibration.
