E6 appears on the display; unit may fill with water but does not harvest ice correctly.

• Clean sensor windows: Locate the ice full sensor near the top of the ice storage bin (often a small window or pair of lenses). Wipe both sides with a soft, damp cloth to remove frost, dust, or mineral film.
• Check for obstructions: Make sure no ice is piled directly in front of the sensor. Remove excess ice and restart the unit.
• Inspect alignment: If your model uses an infrared emitter and receiver on opposite sides of the bin, ensure both boards are firmly mounted and facing each other.
• Check wiring: Follow the sensor wires to the main control board. Reseat connectors and look for damage.
• Replace sensor: If E6 persists, replace the ice full sensor assembly (IR emitter/receiver or optical sensor) with a Galanz-compatible part.
